Shielding Innocence is presented by Caleb Grover and Kelly Winkler. Both have credentials as mental health professionals and are parents themselves, and are dedicated to preventing abuse through education, family connection, and faith.
A licensed mental health counselor who has been serving clients since 2004, Caleb received his master of arts in counseling and his master of divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary. He began Agape Counseling Center in 2007. His counseling work is specialized for those whom have been sexually, physically, or emotionally abused, or struggle with mental health issues such as depression, sexual addiction, marital conflicts, divorce recovery, grief, and more. His work through Shielding Innocence draws upon his experience as a counselor and educator while addressing an issue he is passionate about — protecting children.
Owner of All Things Christian Counseling in Winter Park, Florida, Kelly is a licensed mental health counselor who has been working with clients in the Orlando area since 2002. She has also served as a supervisor at Reformed Theological Seminary and worked as a clinical director at Willow Creek Church. While she works with clients on a variety of issues, her specialties include sexual abuse recovery, sex-specific problems, trauma (childhood and adult), and codependency. Throughout her professional experiences and research, preventing sexual abuse in children has become Kelly’s passion. She hopes to see parents empowered to prevent sexual abuse in their homes and communities.
