The Shielding Innocence workshop is a faith-based, parent-facing learning session that is presented by Kelly Winkler and Caleb Grover. In addition to being parents themselves, they are licensed mental health counselors with a combined 30 years of experience working with sexual abuse victims.
Offered live as well as online, the Shielding Innocence workshop allows parents to get the facts about sexual abuse, become more comfortable having important conversations about sex, and learn practical tips for creating stronger family connections — all components that can help prevent a child from victimization.
